Quick Recharge on Paybeez works without login, so you can go from number to plan list in a few seconds. You only need the 10-digit Jio mobile number; the operator and circle are detected for you, which matters if the number has been ported into Jio and no longer matches the prefix you would expect.

Jio revises its prepaid portfolio regularly, and a few packs differ by circle, so publishing a static price table here would be actively misleading within weeks. Instead, the list below is pulled live for the exact number you enter, straight from the operator's current catalogue — the same data you would see on Jio's own channels.

If a plan you remember is missing, it has usually been withdrawn or replaced rather than hidden. Recharge only from the live list so you never pay into a discontinued pack.

Jio's catalogue is organised differently from the older 2G-era operators. There is no meaningful separation between a 'validity plan' and a 'special tariff voucher' — the unlimited plans carry validity, calls and data together, and everything else is an add-on layered on top of them.

• Truly Unlimited plans — the backbone of the portfolio. Unlimited Jio-to-any-network voice, a daily data quota, a daily SMS allowance and a validity in days. Once the daily quota is used, browsing continues at a heavily reduced speed rather than stopping.
• Long-validity and annual plans — the same structure stretched over several months or a full year. Fewer recharges, and usually the lowest cost per day of validity, but you commit up front.
• Data add-on packs (data boosters) — extra data on top of an active plan. The critical quirk: an add-on borrows the validity of your base plan, so buying one just before your plan expires wastes most of it.
• JioPhone, JioBharat and 4G feature-phone packs — a separate, cheaper set of plans built for Jio's own feature phones. They are listed apart from smartphone plans and are not interchangeable with them.
• Talktime vouchers (Jio lists these as top-up vouchers) — main-balance credit used for things outside your plan, such as ISD calls or premium services. They do not extend validity on their own.
• International roaming and ISD packs — bought before you travel, tied to specific countries and durations.
• Entertainment and bundled-subscription plans — variants of the unlimited plans that include Jio's own apps and, on some packs, third-party streaming subscriptions. Availability of any given bundle changes often, so read the pack description in the live list.

Most people either buy far more data than they use or recharge monthly when an annual plan would have cost less per day. Two minutes of arithmetic before you pay usually beats any promotional framing.

• Work out your real daily usage from your phone's data settings over the last month, then divide by 30. If you are consistently under your daily quota, a smaller plan is the honest choice.
• Compare plans on cost per day of validity, not on headline price. A longer plan almost always wins on that measure if you will stay with Jio.
• For Jio True 5G, check two things: that your area has 5G coverage and that the specific plan you are buying is one of the 5G-eligible packs. 5G data allowances are attached to particular plans, not to the SIM.
• If you stream heavily on one device, consider a smaller base plan plus a data add-on bought early in the cycle, rather than jumping to the next unlimited tier.
• Recharging a JioPhone or JioBharat handset? Filter for the feature-phone packs. Smartphone plans work on those devices but are poor value for them.
• Buying for a parent or a second number that mostly receives calls, look for the longest validity you can find rather than the largest data allowance.

Jio launched as a 4G-only network and never carried 2G or 3G, which is why a Jio SIM needs a VoLTE-capable handset to make ordinary calls. It operates across all 22 Indian telecom circles on a single pan-India network, and its 5G rollout is the widest of the private operators, though coverage inside any given town still varies street by street.

• Headline plan pricing is broadly uniform across circles, but availability of specific packs and promotional variants can differ — which is why Paybeez fetches plans against your actual number rather than showing one national list.
• Your circle is fixed to where the SIM was issued, not where you are standing. Recharging a Delhi-circle number from Chennai is normal and needs no special handling.
• Ported-in numbers keep their old prefix. Trust the detected operator on the recharge screen over what the number 'looks like'.
• A handset without VoLTE support will struggle on Jio regardless of which plan you buy — that is a device limitation, not a recharge problem.

Successful recharges usually reflect on the number within seconds; the operator sends its own confirmation SMS separately from ours. When something goes wrong, the two states to distinguish are failed and pending. A failed transaction means the operator rejected it and money is returned to the original payment method. A pending transaction means the operator has not yet confirmed either way, and it can still complete on its own.

• Do not immediately repeat the recharge on a pending transaction — you risk paying twice for the same benefit.

• Refunds for genuinely failed transactions go back to the source account through the same rails they came in on; bank processing time is outside our control.
• One common non-failure: you recharge with an unlimited plan while another is still running. Jio generally queues the new plan to start after the current one ends, so the benefits appear later rather than immediately.
• Another: a data add-on that seems to vanish early. Add-ons expire with the base plan, so check your base plan's remaining validity before assuming an error.
